Weekend Dispatcher - In Office Position

Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking a Weekend Dispatcher / Office adjunct for their client located near Chester, NY. The Dispatcher will be responsible for receiving and transmitting messages, tracking vehicles and equipment, and recording other pertinent information.



Essential expertise:
Previous dispatch practice is required. The prosperous Dispatcher must be able to handle a high volume of incoming calls and use a multi-line phone system. You will be working in a fast paced environment so attention to detail and the capability to multi-task are key.



Bonus expertise:

»Excellent pronunciation and communication - you will need to accurately convey locations and messages

»Customer service - you will be interacting with customers all day long and will need to be professional while handling customer issues or complaints

»Payroll - you will need to review the driver's payroll and trip log


Job tasks include but are not limited to:

»Scheduling and dispatching work crews and service vehicles to appropriate locations

»Relaying work orders and messages to and from work crews




This is a part time, weekend position. Hours are 12am-12pm, Saturday and Sunday only . Pay rate is $22 per hour.
