Mechanical QC Inspector
Work directly for our Long Island client (Nassau County) that is a specialty manufacturer to the Aerospace & Defense industry
Summary - Mechanical Inspector We have an immediate opening for full-time Mechanical Inspectors (1st Class and 2nd Class) to support Production and Final Quality Inspection. This role is responsible for inspecting machined and fabricated metal components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards, while preventing the release of non-conforming products. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality teams throughout all stages of the production process. Job Duties:- Inspect, monitor, and measure product characteristics at designated stages of the manufacturing and inspection process.
- Verify product conformance to drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Accurately document inspection results and analyze data for compliance and trends.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing teams to identify issues, prevent non-conforming product, and support continuous process improvement.
- Perform final quality inspections prior to product release.

- Hands-on experience using precision measuring and testing equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and related technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as it applies to product inspection.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure while managing multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of standard inspection tools and CMM equipment.
