In support of this model, roles have been categorized into one of three work location categories:

Onsite - roles where employees are expected to be onsite daily.

Hybrid fixed - roles that are a mix of remote work and onsite work fixed days each week.

Hybrid flexible - roles that are a mix of remote work and onsite work, but the onsite requirements have greater flexibility. (i.e. 5-8 days a month vs. set days each week).

Job Summary

PSEG Long Island is looking for three Staff Interns for the Finance Department.

This job involves working as Rates & Pricing, Plant Accounting and Financial Systems/Planning & Budgeting team interns.

This position will be Hybrid in the Bethpage, NY Location.

Job Responsibilities

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:

  • Rates & Pricing: Assist with analyzing LIPA rates and bills as compared to other utilities.

  • Financial Systems, Planning & Budgeting: Assist with analyzing Operations and Maintenance, Capital, and Storm budget to actual variances. Assist in the 2027 budget creation cycle on an ad-hoc basis. Assist with configuration and monthly processing of SAP system.

  • Plant Accounting: Assist with journal entries, month-end close, general ledger to sub ledger property records reconciliations, month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Job Specific Qualifications

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:
