• Call Type: Beeper

• Call Response Time: Within 20 minutes

• Patient Demographics: Adults (18+)

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 20 patients per day

• Admissions: Yes

• Rounding: Included (post-op and inpatient consults)

• Case Mix: General Urology procedures, consults, and outpatient care

FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 4 exam rooms

• Trauma Level: Level III

• EMR System: Epic

• Office Equipment Available: Standard urology clinic and OR equipment (limited robotics availability)

• Specialty Backup Available: Available as needed

• Support Staff Available: 1 FT Provider, 2 LPNs, 2 CNA/CMA, 1 Patient Representative

• Reason for Coverage: Staffing shortage due to provider vacancy and upcoming departure

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active NY license required

• Board: Board Certified in Urology

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: BLS

• Experience: Relevant urology experience required

• Other Qualifications: Epic experience required; clean work history with no gaps over 30 days; malpractice disclosure required if applicable

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient urology care and consultations

• Perform urology procedures and surgical cases

• Manage inpatient consults and post-operative care

• Participate in call coverage as scheduled

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
