Elbers Landscape Service Inc. is celebrating 101+ years in business and, along with it, tremendous growth in campus grounds management. Our team is seeking qualified applicants to fill positions as groundskeeper on our campus grounds team. Make the leap to your next professional level with Elbers. General Summary:

- Full-time employment

- Direct report location at the Daemen University with onsite office and garage

- Complete grounds management of all landscapes, lawns, athletic fields, parking lots and sidewalks

- Flexible availability to accommodate campus events and winter plowing/shoveling requirements

General Duties & Responsibilities:

- Complete assigned work orders regularly

- To work under the direction of an assigned grounds supervisor as a member of a crew in a professional manner.

Requirements:

- 3+ years' experience in all or some of the following: landscape, athletic field management, or snowplowing

- Ability to do physical work in all climates for 8-10 hours per day and lift 50 lbs.

- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, turf, evergreens, and trees

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Dependability is essential to the job!

- Employment offer contingent on background checks and drug testing results

Compensation:

- Pay based on experience $17.00 - $19 per hour
