NYIC VISTA, Fundraising @ Columbia County Sanctuary Movement
The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) VISTA program works to place and support AmeriCorps VISTAs at New York nonprofit organizations, for the purpose of building organizational capacity to provide low-income immigrant communities with diverse anti-poverty services.
Member Duties : VISTA PLACEMENT: Columbia County Sanctuary Movement (CCSM), MISSION: CCSM organizes with (im)migrants and allies to collectively support, empower, and defend our communities; VISTA ACTIVITIES: The NYIC VISTA, Fundraising, placed at CCSM, will work on fundraising projects (e.g., grant applications, events, donor mailings), to implement new donor and grants management processes to help CCSM grow its programming in the region. SERVICE LOCATION: P.O. Box 785, Hudson, NY 12534. LIVING ALLOWANCE: $24,962.36
