169. Associate, Asset Based Lending (New York)
Our client is a newly launched private credit investment fund affiliated with a global alternative investment manager. The platform offers differentiated access to private credit ABL, and opportunistic ABL credit solutions. With their growing capital base, our client is expanding their Associate team. The Associate will perform financial analysis, conduct diligence, contribute to underwriting and documentation, and participate in ongoing portfolio monitoring of asset-based investment opportunities (ABL, term loans, FILO, stretch ABL, asset acquisitions). Associates should have 2-4 years of experience in private credit, asset based commercial/investment bank lending and/or direct experience from an ABL private debt fund. Restructuring experience would be a plus. Associates need strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills and previous exposure to complex debt and collateralized structured credit transactions. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to draft and synthesize investment materials, including memos and internal presentations. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates should display energy, team-orientation, and a desire to learn. This is a career role with opportunity for advancement for strong performers. Salary: $150,000-$200,000 +bonus.
