Hardware & Paint Retail Associate/Asst Mgr.

Our client, an independent retailer in the home improvement industry, is seeking a Hardware and Paint Store Retail Associate to join their team. As a Paint Store Retail Associate, you will be part of a dynamic environment supporting customer satisfaction and product excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Must also have Asst. Mgr. experience

Location: Monsey, NY

Pay Range: $ 25.00

Shift: M-Th 715am-315pm, Fri 715am-2pm, Sun 9am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Greet customers promptly and provide excellent service.
• Assist customers in selecting paint products and matching or mixing custom colors.
• Operate our point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales and returns.
• Load customer orders and help with heavy buckets of paint (must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.).
• Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
• Managerial skills to be able to assist when the manager is not in

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 70 lbs.).
• Comfortable with mixing paint and learning color matching techniques (training provided).
• Experience in Retail (Home Improvement) with experience in Hardware/Home Improvement focus strongly needed.
• Basic computer skills to operate our POS system.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for occasional deliveries.
• Managerial skills to be able to assist when the manager is not in
