Senior project manager event production

Job DescriptionOur client, a luxury event company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team full time starting as soon as identified!In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite in Manhattan 5 days per week as well as onsite at event spaces as needed.As the Senior Project Manager, you will be leading the planning and execution of high-profile events, including milestone celebrations, luxury weddings, and private parties. The Senior Project Manager is a strategic thinker with a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of full-scale event production.The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for: - leading cross-functional teams in the end-to-end planning and execution of complex events- managing client relationships with professionalism and precision, ensuring satisfaction from concept to completion- overseeing logistics, vendor coordination, and contract negotiations, including multi-million-dollar agreements- developing and managing Run of Show (ROS) and Production Schedules from pre-production through on-site execution- ensuring all events are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety standards- conducting thorough pre- and post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement - troubleshooting challenges on event day with a calm, solutions-oriented approachREQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years experience with large scale events and luxury productions - outstanding time management and communications skills - strong attention to detail while managing several projects at once- skilled in vendor research, negotiation, and relationship management - proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with relevant production and event technologies In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
