Portfolio Manager - Active Multi Asset

Your role

Do you want to apply advanced multi asset portfolio construction expertise and portfolio management skills to help us design, implement, and enhance multi asset portfolios within a leading global asset management firm?

We are looking for an Active Multi Asset Portfolio Manager to:

• collaborate with lead portfolio managers to design and oversee a diverse array of multi-asset portfolio solutions tailored to various client needs
• lead the construction, calibration, and ongoing optimization of multi asset portfolios using portfolio construction tools, scenario analysis, and risk budgeting frameworks
• play an integral role in all facets of portfolio management, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, manager selection and monitoring performance and risk
• transform investment insights into actionable portfolio strategies, ensuring effective execution by working closely with implementation and trading teams
• champion innovative approaches to enhance multi-asset portfolio offerings across different client segments
• contribute to investment decisions by conducting research related to tactical asset allocation and manager selection
• engage with internal sales and client coverage teams both in the US and internationally to advocate and support our multi-asset portfolio solutions
• participate in client meetings to present investment strategies, portfolio positioning, performance updates, and market outlooks
• respond to client inquiries, assist with RFPs, and actively support both prospective and existing clients
• help enhance the global investment process by improving workflows, portfolio management tools, and platform capabilities

• New York: the salary range for this role is $135000 to $195000

Your team

You’ll be part of the Active Multi Asset (AMA) Portfolio Management team and will be located in New York. Our team oversees multi-asset funds and manages mandates for both institutional and private clients. As a Portfolio Manager, you will collaborate with the Lead Portfolio Managers to shape strategic asset allocation, select managers, and make tactical asset allocation choices within our multi-asset portfolios.

Your expertise

• ideally 6-9 years’ relevant experience in portfolio management or a related investment role
• extensive hands on experience constructing and managing multi asset portfolios, including asset allocation modeling, portfolio optimization, risk decomposition, and scenario analysis
• bachelor’s / master’s degree or equivalent, with a focus in finance, economics or related field
• ideally CFA certified or studying toward this
• demonstrate a strategic and solution-driven mindset, excelling in both communication and teamwork
• highly organized and meticulous, able to deliver high-quality results even in high-pressure situations
• an innovative approach to making processes more effective and efficient
• programming experience is considered a plus
