JOB DESCRIPTION
Clinician, IAPP - Castleton, NY: East Greenbush area, 15 mins from Albany areathis job offer is responsible for providing home-located clinical services with children and their families to help preserve or reunite them in conformity with Northeast Parent & Child Society's stated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families and strengthening communities.
ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other tasks may be assigned.
»Provide home and community-located assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity / number of direct services hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed)
»Complete necessary all records and client information in conformity with agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements
»Continue expertise development through agency-provided clinical / core training
»Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and/ or family as it relates to their treatment
»Primarily responsible for the clinician decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinician (Family Case Manager or Clinician Case Manager).
»Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews.
» capability and availability to do the job as it is today and change as the job changes.
EDUCATION and/or practice
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field and 0-4 years of post-graduate practice.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
Must have a valid driver's license.
