Job Summary
The Instructional Support Coordinator is responsible for routine organizational, operational and administrative tasks of assigned mathematical sciences courses. The incumbent will work with faculty, teaching adjuncts and undergraduate mentors to ensure that all supporting material required (notes, problem solutions, demonstrations, etc.) are properly prepared and made available in electronic or paper form as needed. The incumbent will be responsible for all planning and problem solving necessary for the courses to run smoothly including scheduling, responding to student requests, inquiries and issues as well as completing required reporting. In addition, the Instructional Support Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring teaching adjuncts receive proper training.


Minimum Qualifications

»Associate's degree

»Three (3) or more years practice

»A significant combination of practice, training or education may be substituted for a degree


Preferred Qualifications

»Bachelor's degree

Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities

»Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other specialized software and applications such as the Piazza platform

»Requires demonstrated oral and written communication expertise

»Requires capability to work with diverse populations of faculty, staff and students

»Requires excellent interpersonal and communication expertise

»Requires capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
