Receptionist
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our office soft services team in New York, NY. This role involves providing exceptional administrative support, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and setting up meeting rooms. This is a full-time, in-person position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The role is initially a 2-month assignment with the possibility of extension and potential for conversion to a full-time employee.
Responsibilities- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Check in guests and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or meeting room.
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Support the mailroom with sorting and distributing mail.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- GED/High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledgeable in basic computer functions and navigation.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in hospitality or property management is a plus.
The position is based in New York, NY and requires in-person attendance. The work environment is professional, supporting an office setting where you will interact with a variety of guests and colleagues. Dress code is business casual. The interview process involves one virtual interview.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
