Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20 - $23 per hour (located on practice)

Medical adjunct Qualifications required

»High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of a recognized Medical adjunct program is preferred.

»Prior practice in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, or Pulmonology settings is highly advantageous.

»Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer expertise.

»Strong communication and interpersonal expertise; capability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

»Attention to detail, strong organizational expertise, and the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Medical adjunct Key Responsibilities:

»Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations, treatments, and procedures within the Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Pulmonology departments.

»Take patient medical histories, record vital signs, and input information into electronic medical records (EMR) systems accurately and efficiently.

»Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean and organized environment for patient care.

»Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.

»Perform basic laboratory tests, including specimen collection, processing, and documentation.

»Schedule appointments, manage patient inquiries, and facilitate smooth patient flow within the practice.

»Provide patient education and instructions related to procedures, medications, and post-care guidelines.

»Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to optimize patient care delivery and practice efficiency.
