Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

Randstad is proud to partner with our premier client, a quality-driven and rapidly growing food manufacturer based in Islip, NY. We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Overnight Mechanic to join their fast-paced, entrepreneurial production team.

This role is vital to the facility's success, tasking the mechanic with troubleshooting equipment issues and performing essential maintenance to ensure seamless mechanical operations across the plant. salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
shift: Third
work hours: 12 AM - 8 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assess, adjust, and fix production machinery and equipment.
• Adjusts equipment as required in a non-operator’s capacity.
• Observe and ensure all equipment performs as required after production has set up lines.
• Responds to requests from all departments based on priorities.
• Replacement of factory parts and components on our full line of products.
• Executes PMs and preventive breakdown as directed by the maintenance manager.
• Assesses all mechanical and electrical failures, repairs, breakdowns as needed. Reports all to maintenance manager.
• Completes daily shift report to the maintenance manager and the maintenance team.
• Any other tasks assigned based on business needs.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
