Christian Dior Manager, Entertainment Relations
- Strategic Celebrity & Talent Engagement:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for celebrity and VIP product placement, endorsements, and ambassadorships, aligning with global brand initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, high-level relationships with A-list celebrities, their stylists, agents, and management teams.
- Lead and personally oversee all aspects of celebrity stylings, fittings, and appearances, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience.
- Identify and secure strategic opportunities for brand integration within key entertainment moments, including film, television, music, and cultural events.
- Editorial & Media Collaboration:
- Independently manage and foster relationships with top-tier fashion editors, stylists, and influential media figures to secure impactful editorial placements.
- Proactively pitch and facilitate product loans, photo shoot coordination, and exclusive access for editorial features, ensuring brand messaging and imagery are impeccably represented.
- Negotiate and manage complex logistics for product movement, including shipping, receiving, and tracking of high-value samples for editorial shoots and celebrity engagements.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Contribute to the development of the overall Entertainment Relations strategy, identifying emerging trends and opportunities within the celebrity and media landscape.
- Oversee comprehensive editorial and VIP tagging, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of brand exposure.
- Develop and present sophisticated monthly reports and seasonal recaps, analyzing KPIs, competitive activities, and providing strategic insights and recommendations to the VP.
- Conduct in-depth research and competitive analysis to inform strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Operational Excellence:
- Establish and maintain comprehensive digital and physical records, ensuring meticulous organization of contacts, press clippings, and project documentation.
- Exercise exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and high-profile relationships, representing the brand with the utmost professionalism.
- Maintain an immaculate and highly organized showroom, ensuring all samples are accounted for and presented impeccably.
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Global PR, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and support integrated campaigns.
- Mentor and potentially supervise junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in high-end fashion public relations, with a significant focus on entertainment relations and celebrity engagement. Experience within a luxury brand environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with A-list celebrities, their teams, and top-tier media.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive brand visibility and achieve measurable results within the entertainment and media landscape.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a sophisticated ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Unimpeachable judgment, discretion, and a high level of maturity in handling confidential information and engaging with high-profile individuals.
- Superior organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic luxury environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), and experience with PR tracking software and industry-standard tools.
- Deep understanding of the fashion, luxury, and entertainment industries, including current trends, key players, and media landscape.
