Duties Description Assist Bureau of Contracts with legal issues relating to pre-audit of State Contracts. Assist Bureau of State Expenditures with legal issues relating to the pre-audit of State payments. Provide legal guidance to the Office of Unclaimed Funds with respect to unclaimed property claims and reporting of unclaimed funds. Provide general legal support to the Office of Operations. Review, analyze and comment on changes in law and judicial decisions that affect OSC Office of Operations.

Additional Comments Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Attorney admitted to practice in New York or eligible to take the NYS Bar exam- Two years' legal experience.- Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Ability to organize large volumes of factual and legal data into clear and logical sequences.- Ability to identify legal issues, governing precedent and issue sound legal opinions.
