Senior Software Engineer

ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU’LL

• Develop and maintain new and existing services using Go, PHP, SQL, and TypeScript, working in an AI-augmented development environment

• Enhance infrastructure and site reliability by leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, Envoy, Prometheus, and Jenkins, while contributing directly to infrastructure roadmapping and architectural decisions

• Directly engage with and understand business processes, objectives, workflows, and strategy, not just code

• Architect and implement solutions to key business challenges in collaboration with technical leaders, applying deep knowledge of both technical and operational processes to deliver scalable, secure, effective outcomes

• Design and build integrations across internal systems, third-party APIs, and SaaS platforms to streamline workflows and improve data flow

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and evolving enterprise software systems

• 2+ years of enterprise development experience in Go with demonstrated expertise; additional experience with PHP and TypeScript is preferred

• Strong foundation in object-oriented design principles and design patterns, with deep experience architecting and operating microservice-based systems

• Experience working in an AI-augmented development environment and proficiency with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code.

• Hands-on experience deploying, administering, and maintaining systems using Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, gRPC, and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong knowledge of relational database design

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (VLANs, subnets, IP addressing, BGP) is advantageous

• Excellent communicator with a track record of working cross-functionally

• Proven ability to understand broad aspects of a business (e.g., accounting, customer support, sales) and apply technical expertise to solve real operational problems

• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and proficiency with shell environments

• Experience with the SiteTracker project management platform is a plus
