What is a Treasury Analyst?
A Treasury Analyst works within the Treasury division of the Finance and Planning team and is responsible for execution of everyday cash management activities, acts as day-to-day liaison with banks, performs analyses of corporate liquidity, develops, and maintains cash forecasts, reports and bank presentations. This analyst works closely with other departments within the Company as well as with Company’s banking relations.



What does a Treasury Analyst do?

»Managing corporate cash management and assisting with capital markets and other financing activities

»Coordinating with Controller organization to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and invoicing of cash flows

»Preparation of annual budgets

»Preparation of monthly and annual cash flow and financial forecasts

»Implementing best practices in treasury and cash management

»Compilation and analysis of data in the preparation of reports and filings with regulatory agencies and other outside constituencies

»Assisting with special projects as needed

»Supports storm/emergency restoration efforts

What does it take to be a Treasury Analyst?

Required:

»Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 2+ years of significant work practice

»Strong analytical, organizational and quantitative expertise; Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

»Working expertise of corporate financial statements

» capability to work in a deadline- oriented, fast paced environment

» capability to work individually or as part of a group on special projects

»Well- developed written and verbal communication expertise

»Strong computer expertise, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

»A valid driver’s license is required

»Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
