Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Program: A29i
Salary: $35,700-$41.820
Duties:
- Perform a variety of program functions related to administration including typing correspondence and reports and answering telephone.
- Responsible for handling projects delegated by administration on an as needed basis, including implementing systems to improve the program.
- Manage petty cash and check requests.
- As directed, sets up and arranges meetings called by administration. Keeps the calendar current and reminds administrator of meetings and appointments.
- Relieves the administrator of as much clerical and minor administrative detail as possible.
- Performs other related duties, as required by the administrator.
- Establishes and maintains the administrators' files and other files and record pertaining to the agency.
- Schedules training for staff, including out of city travel arrangements.
- Oversees travel arrangements and use of agency vehicles for the teams being supported.
Required Skills:
· Associate's Degree
· Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
· Computer skills - including strong skills in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn other computer applications such as MyEvolv electronic record keeping.
- Excellent writing skills.
