The Corporate Property Underwriting Intern will learn firsthand about property underwriting and experience the inner workings of a production underwriting unit. The intern will also develop the skills needed to work within a matrix organization within the insurance industry and experience marketing externally.

• Data Integrity project

• Policy Endorsements project

• Support team of underwriters

Qualifications

• Preferred major: Insurance and Finance

• Grade Level: 2027, 2028 and 2029 undergraduates

• Good organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Some marketing or design skills

• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI

This role will be based in New York, New York. The base range for this internship will be $23 - $25 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in NYC. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
