Senior UX Researcher and Designer

Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher and Designer to lead discovery, research, and user-centered design initiatives for large-scale digital service platforms. This role will partner closely with product managers, digital strategists, analytics teams, designers, and engineers to ensure product decisions are driven by user insights, behavioral data, and evidence-based research.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, usability testing, user journey mapping, and wireframing. This position requires a strategic thinker who can transform research findings into actionable product recommendations and intuitive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX research initiatives for high-priority digital products and services.
- Conduct generative and evaluative research including field studies, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, surveys, and A/B testing.
- Create comprehensive research plans, hypotheses, and testing strategies using mixed research methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, analytics, engineering, and design teams.
- Synthesize qualitative insights with quantitative and behavioral data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Deliver clear, actionable research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and journey maps based on research insights and business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative synthesis sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Improve and expand internal UX research frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and user-centered best practices across digital experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in UX research and design.
- Proven experience leading both generative and evaluative research initiatives.
- Strong expertise in usability testing, A/B testing, interviews, field studies, and mixed-method research.
- Experience translating research findings into wireframes, user journeys, and product recommendations.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and research validation techniques.
- Experience recruiting and working with diverse user populations and demographic groups.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within cross-functional product and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in evaluation practice or qualitative research methodologies.
- 10+ years of experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data sets.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive research practices.
- Experience facilitating collaborative workshops and design thinking sessions.
- Experience working in large enterprise or public sector digital transformation environments.
