Job Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to CLOs and other financial instruments.
• Provide legal advice on structured finance transactions and regulatory compliance matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies and legal standards.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Support the legal department in managing risk and resolving potential legal issues.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
• Work with external counsel and other stakeholders as needed to address complex legal matters.
• Maintain organized records of legal documentation and case files.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Legal Counsel - CLOs should have:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the state bar in New York.
• Strong knowledge of CLOs, structured finance, and related legal frameworks.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for complex legal documents.
• Ability to analyze and interpret legal issues in the financial services industry.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
