Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT II) Large Animal Nursing Care

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join the ENFAH Emergency and Nursing Care team at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. In this role, you will provide hands-on nursing care for emergency and hospitalized equine and farm animal patients while working closely with clinicians, house officers, students, and fellow technicians in a collaborative teaching hospital environment. This position is ideal for an LVT who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values teamwork and compassionate care, and is excited to support both exceptional patient outcomes and the education of future veterinary professionals. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Employees working in the hospital must receive the pre-exposure rabies prophylaxis vaccination series prior to or immediately after hire, which will be paid for by the department. Required Qualifications Important Details about the Position This position will work outside of regular hours, primarily on evenings and weekends.
