ICU
16 bed ICU & intermediate care (IMC) unit
Average daily census of 8
1:2 ratio for ICU, 1:3 ratio for IMC
4 North, 4 South, & SSU
32 bed Med/Surg/Tele units
Average daily census of 17-22
1:5 patient ratio (1:6 during surg staffing) with nursing assistant support
Additional support from lightly assigned Charge Nurse (1:2 patient ratio)
ED
23 monitored bed unit
Average daily census 70-100 patients, all stages of life
1:4 patient ratio (1:5 during surg staffing) with nursing assistant support
Additional support from unassigned Charge Nurse
Dedicated triage nurse
