Job Overview:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) to join a dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in a high-energy environment and are passionate about providing exceptional patient care across advanced imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, and Ultrasound.

Schedule:

• Shift: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM (Evening Shift)

• Days: Monday – Thursday

• 4 x 10-hour shifts per week

• On-call required based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures

• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures

• Administer medications and ensure patient safety

• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nursing experience

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience

• Telemetry experience required

• Active New York RN License (Required)

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association only)

• ACLS (American Heart Association only)

Additional Information:

• Hospital-issued scrubs will be required in procedural areas

• Must adhere to infection prevention protocols at all times
