The ideal candidate will have some technical understanding in semiconductor failure analysis using sample preparation, imaging, and analytical techniques. The candidate will have solid understanding of semiconductor technology and manufacturing.Essential Responsibilities include:Support advanced analysis to meet turnaround-time without compromising rising qualityInteract with lab shift team, lab engineers & managers on defining analytical methods needed to achieve expected results, meeting expectations of analyses and interpretation of resultsWork closely with process integration, process modules, product and customer engineering organizations to meet all customer technology requirements and deadlinesIdentify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize, cycle time, utilization and costActively participate in continuous improvement processesLearn and/or develop methodologies to support nonstandard submissions / failure modesEffective communication (both written and verbal) with peers and cross function areasOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:Education - Graduating with Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or related field from an accredited degree program.Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)Able to follow work and safety procedures for laboratory environmentPreferred Qualifications: Prior related internship or co-op experience.Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong planning & organizational skillsSemiconductor process knowledgeExperience using SEM, FIB, TEM sample preparation, TEM imaging, SIMS.Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation; demonstrate solid work performance in an environment requiring high level of attention to detail and timelinessStrong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed and other duties as assignedAble to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activitiesDirect experience working in an analytical laboratory, preferably related to failure analysis, materials science, inorganic chemistry or semiconductor manufacturing would be an advantageDirect knowledge of one or more analysis methodologies used in failure analysis for state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing#NCGProgramUSExpected Salary Range$65,400.00 - $145,800.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at [email protected] and let us know the nature of your
