Compensation: $45–$60 per clinical hour (Fee-for-Service)

Schedule: Flexible, with 1 required in-person day/week and 2 evening shifts/week

Job Description:
ILLUMINA Wellness is seeking a Mental Health Counselor–Limited Permit (MHC-LP) to join our boutique private practice in Chelsea, NYC. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career clinician who is passionate about relationship and sex therapy , and eager to deepen their clinical work in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

You’ll work with individuals and couples navigating issues around intimacy, identity, and emotional connection—supported by weekly supervision , training in marketing and referral building , and full administrative assistance so you can focus on what matters: the clinical work.

This is a hybrid position requiring one in-person day per week at our Flatiron office and two evening shifts. Outside of that, scheduling is flexible and collaboratively planned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and active Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in New York

• Strong interest in relationship and sex therapy (required)
• Comfortable with—or eager to learn— attachment-based, psychodynamic, and experiential modalities
• Gay men / those interested in gay men's issues especially encouraged to apply.
