Asset Protection Officer

Pay starts at $19/hr.

SUMMARY

Protects property against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, and illegal entry. Patrols the Main Office complex and Distribution Center to include Building 50 to ensure that they are properly secure. Ensures identification of employees and visitors to the distribution center. Monitors all inbound and outbound traffic. Dispatches emergency calls in offhours. Monitors alarms for the Stores, Distribution Center and Main Office Complex. Investigates and documents safety and security incidents at the Main Office and Distribution Centers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for monitoring all inbound and outbound traffic to include, but not limited to, all outbound loads insuring the integrity of seal controls on all outbound loads. Ensure identification of employees and visitors to the distribution center. Monitor alarms for all Store locations, Main Office, Distribution Centers, House Calls Pharmacy and the residences of corporate executives. Monitor Ammonia Room and Fire Control System for the Main Office/ Distribution Centers. Dispatch emergency calls during offhours for issues pertaining to LPD Field operations, all corporate maintenance issues, product recalls, power outages and natural disasters in the Main Office and all operation areas. Investigate and document incidents pertaining to the safety and security of the Main Office/Distribution Center complex. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills. Must have a Valid Driver’s License Must be 21 years of age. Must submit to DL Monitoring.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent.
