Fullstack Software Engineer | AI-Native Healthcare Platform

Location: New York, NY (In-Person) Experience: 3–7 Years Comp Range: $220,000 - $250,000 + Equity

The Opportunity

TechStaffers is partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed startup with $4 million in funding that is redefining how healthcare providers handle administrative workflows. This isn't just another SaaS dashboard; they are building an agentic AI platform designed to automate the complex, manual processes inherent in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

As an early engineer, you will work on the frontier of AI application, building voice AI, browser agents, and generative features that interact directly with human operators. You’ll be tasked with taking products from 0-to-1 and scaling them from 1-to-X in a space that is desperate for modernization.

What You’ll Do

• Architect Agentic Workflows: Partner directly with customers to prototype and productize end-to-end solutions using LLMs, voice AI, and browser automation.

• Fullstack Ownership: While slightly backend-leaning, you will build the React/Next.js interfaces and the robust Python backends that power these autonomous agents.

• Customer-Centric Engineering: Develop deep domain expertise in healthcare billing to make high-level product decisions and empathize with the end-user.

• Bridge AI and UX: Solve the unique challenge of how humans and AI agents interact within a seamless software environment.

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript

• Infrastructure: AWS

Who You Are

We are looking for a high-agency engineer who thrives in the "controlled chaos" of a high-growth startup environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Startup Pedigree: 3–7 years of experience, specifically at high-growth, high-caliber startups (e.g., the early days of Stripe, Samsara, or similar).

• Fullstack Proficiency: Strong Python skills with solid experience in React and Next.js. You should be comfortable leaning into the backend but capable of shipping polished UI.

• Proof of Excellence: You have a track record of high achievement (e.g., Neo Scholar, experience at a top-tier firm, or a degree from a top 30 university).

• Zero-to-One Experience: You have a history of building and launching products from scratch.

• The "In-Person" Mindset: You value the velocity of working side-by-side with a tight-knit team in a New York office.

Preferred Traits:

• Industry Interest: A genuine excitement to solve "unsexy" but high-impact problems in healthcare billing.

• Autonomous & Direct: You enjoy working directly with customers to gather feedback and iterate quickly.

Note on Culture Fit: We are looking for builders, not maintainers. If your experience is exclusively in "Big Tech" or you have a history of frequent job-hopping (less than 18 months per role), this likely won't be the right fit.
