Medical Receptionist
Medical ReceptionistJob location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay: $17-$20 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:30am to 5:00pm
We are currently seeking a temporary Medical Receptionist for our busy medical practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. The prosperous candidate will have excellent communication and customer service expertise, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Medical Receptionist General Requirements:
»High school diploma or equivalent
»Minimum of 1 year of practice in a medical office setting
»Strong communication and customer service expertise
»Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
» capability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:
»Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
»Answer and direct incoming phone calls
»Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed
»Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
»Maintain patient files and ensure accuracy of information
»Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
