Overnight In Room Dining Server

Temple Court, a Tom Colicchio Restaurant in the Beekman Hotel, is looking for Overnight In Room Dining Servers to join their growing team!

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:

• Responsible for serving food and beverage items in addition to delivering amenities to hotel guest rooms in a timely and professional manner
• Answering in room dining requests; taking accurate food and beverage orders
• Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus; ability to communicate details about food and beverage items with guests
• Communicating with the kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction
• Collecting food from the kitchen and ensuring accuracy of orders prior to delivery to guest rooms
• Ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the area within the In Room Dining station; maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
• Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 1 year of serving experience in a fine dining restaurant
• Strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds of weight
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
