Experienced Mechanic

We are seeking a full-time Experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment essential to our operations. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative and routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
- Service and adjust small engines, gas engines, diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and snow equipment
- Maintain and repair landscaping tools and machinery, including lawn mowers, blowers, chain saws, and weed wackers
- Utilize strong knowledge of motors, hand tools, trailers, and hydraulic systems
- Provide occasional road service as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure equipment is safe and operational
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with small engines, automotive, diesel trucks, and heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of motors, hand tools, trailers, and hydraulics
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and vehicles
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Must provide own tools
- Ability to relocate to Wappingers Falls, NY before starting work (preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
