Join a Collaborative Care Team in a Scenic and Growing Healthcare Network

A well-established healthcare organization serving a region where the Adirondack Mountains meet the St. Lawrence River is actively recruiting full-time Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join their dedicated team of clinicians.

Position Overview:

• Ideal Candidate:

  • APPs with a minimum of two years of Emergency Medicine experience or those who have completed dedicated postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine are encouraged to apply.

• Schedule:

  • Full-time position requiring 2,080 hours annually (40 hours per week).

• Work Locations and Shifts:

  • Regional Emergency Department (Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center):

    • Provides 24/7 physician coverage.

    • APP shifts include:

      • 10am to 10pm in the Rapid Assessment Zone (functioning as a provider in triage)

      • 8am to 5pm in the main Emergency Department

      • 5pm to 2am in the main Emergency Department

  • Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department:

    • 24/7 physician coverage.

    • APP shift: 10am to 6pm in the main Emergency Department.

• APPs have the flexibility to work across both locations and may choose shifts according to preference.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate / Annual Salary:

  • Regional ED: $100/hour or $208,000/year

  • Critical Access Hospital ED: $105/hour or $218,400/year

• Paid Time Off: 200 hours per year.

• Signing Bonus: $5,000.

• Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500.

• Continuing Medical Education (CME): $2,000 annually.

• Professional Fees: Reimbursement for state licensing, DEA registration, board certification fees, and required certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, ATLS as needed).

• Malpractice Insurance: Fully covered.

• Retirement: 403(b) retirement plan available.

• Health Benefits: Medical coverage including a high-deductible plan with Health Savings Account (HSA) option.
