Graver Technologies is an Industrial Filter Element and Filter Housing (Vessel) Manufacturer located in Honeoye Falls, NY and a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), an international corporation with more than $9 billion in annual sales. We are seeking 1st Shift Utility Operators (Blasting/Hydro/Final) to work in our Vessel Shop.

The Vessel Utility Operator is responsible for all Post Weld operations including Hydro, Sandblasting & Final Assembly and Inspection of welded vessels. The Utility Operator is responsible for meeting or exceeding the required specifications and delivery requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed):

1. Perform all required tasks as outlined in Job Packages for Hydro (setting up for testing & breaking down for further processing), Sandblasting for paint preparation or final assembly & completing Final Assembly and preparing units for shipping.

2. Follow all instructions as listed in Job Packages and complete all required documentation.

3. Communicates regularly with team members and management regarding concerns, discrepancies, and continuous improvement efforts/ideas.

4. Follows Graver work safety requirements and works safely in general all the time.

5. Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment as designated

6. Maintains clean and organized work area.

Educational Requirements:

High school graduation or equivalent

Skill and Experience Requirements:

1. Ability to read, write and interpret general documents such as work instructions, manuals and job packages.

2. Self-motivated and ability to maintain near perfect attendance. Highly dependable.

3. Familiarity with Mechanics hand tools, general hand tools

4. Experience with Jib cranes, sandblasting, industrial painting & final assembly of large, fabricated components is a Plus.

5. Ability to communicate in verbal and written form to supervisor on questions specific to processes and manufacturing status.

6. Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and do basic math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divide.

7. Ability to lift on average 50lbs of weight and move about 20ft.

8. Ability to regularly grasp, pull and push product using material handling equipment (pallet jack).

9. Availability to work overtime as required (both during the week and on weekends).

10. Willing to do other duties as directed &/or assigned.
