Vice President, Product Owner - Open Banking

We are seeking an Open Banking Product Owner to champion the advancement of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, innovative self-starter with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving enterprise-level product objectives. As a Vice President, Product Owner within Open Banking, you will be responsible for owning significant new platform features to enable real-time sharing of customer information across the enterprise. You will be expected to be a strong and credible voice in driving Chase’s product agenda to equip our partners and stakeholders with the knowledge and insight they need to drive the outcomes they are accountable for. You will collaborate across multiple products within and outside the CX & Personalization team. You will be working closely with engineers, architects, data scientists, other product owners, and business leaders.
Job Responsibilities
- Own core features and component development – Craft the product roadmap for key elements of the Import Aggregation Platform and drive these features from discovery through launch
- Manage key relationships – Work with engineering, architecture, and a diverse set of product teams across the enterprise to understand their needs and drive results
- Communicate effectively and frequently – Be vocal. Share strategy, roadmap, progress and insights broadly and systematically. Craft the ideal narrative and cadence for different partner and stakeholder audiences
- Lead people/Be a center for knowledge – The ideal candidate has deep curiosity about the digital product experience space and a desire to connect that curiosity and knowledge to the teams that can effect change.
- Be a Technical & Customer Problem Solver – Ask questions and define the problem and where our platform sits in the Chase ecosystem. Understand the technologies and approaches in use and those we should be using to drive our objectives for these technical products
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience as a product owner, with experience managing technical platforms
- Customer-focused with a track record of delivery of delightful Customer experiences
- Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements
- Strong team player who can inspire action and build credibility across the enterprise
- Ability to translate disparate insights and data sources into clear, measurable, scalable features and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to stakeholders and partners
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues and influence agreement across all steps in a project lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment. Strong partnership, consulting, and influence skills
- Minimum BA/BS degree required or relevant experience
