Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing) for one of our clients in Utica, NY.

Job Description:

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Charge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Unit Specifics: Common patient diagnosis: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Resp Failure
• Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
• Patients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds , 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych

Submission Requirements:

• WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience.
• Also, documenting travel experience.
• 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN References
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Current AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC

Work hours:

• Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
