Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) Jobs – Medical Oncology, Rochester, NY

Oncology RN Job Details
- Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel nurse contract
- Unit: Medical Oncology (WCC7)
- Duration: 17 weeks (September 15, 2025 – January 10, 2026)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 3x12 hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night), including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge nurse duties as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,310
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification
- Chemo certification required
- Ability to obtain TB skin test
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult hematology-oncology patients in a medical oncology unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data for patient safety
- Administer chemotherapy and specialized oncology treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the cancer care continuum
- Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge nurse responsibilities
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical activities
