Position Summary

The Educational Development and Marketing Specialist at Northern Academy of the Arts performs a critical professional role that directly supports the institution’s strategic growth, international outreach, and long term sustainability. The position is responsible for conducting market research, analyzing enrollment and marketing performance, and supporting the development of data-driven recruitment and marketing strategies aligned with the Academy’s mission and institutional goals.

The role requires professional knowledge in marketing, market analysis, enrollment strategy, and education market development to support institutional planning, outreach initiatives, and organizational growth.

Detailed Job Descriptions

1. International Market Research and Strategic Analysis

Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of domestic and international education markets to identify trends, opportunities, competitive positioning, and recruitment potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research on international student recruitment trends and emerging education markets
  • Evaluating demographic data, enrollment patterns, and regional education systems
  • Analyzing academic performance indicators and market competitiveness
  • Assessing recruitment opportunities across key international regions, including Southeast Asia
  • Preparing market assessments and strategic recommendations to support institutional growth initiatives
  • Supporting data-driven enrollment planning and international expansion strategies

2. Data-Driven Enrollment Strategy and Performance Evaluation

Analyze enrollment data, marketing performance metrics, and recruitment outcomes to support institutional decision-making and long-term strategic planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing enrollment trends, conversion metrics, and recruitment effectiveness
  • Developing enrollment projections and forecasting models
  • Evaluating marketing campaign performance using quantitative and analytical methodologies
  • Interpreting complex datasets and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Supporting evidence-based institutional planning and resource allocation
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency and enrollment outcomes

3. Marketing Strategy Development and Campaign Oversight

Develop targeted marketing strategies and oversee implementation efforts aligned with the Academy’s mission and international recruitment objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing data-driven marketing and outreach strategies for target student populations
  • Developing messaging frameworks and brand positioning strategies
  • Participating in and overseeing implementation of marketing initiatives and outreach campaigns
  • Evaluating campaign effectiveness and recommending strategic adjustments
  • Ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives, institutional priorities, and enrollment goals
  • Providing strategic and analytical guidance to supporting personnel involved in campaign execution

4. International Partnership Development and External Relations

Support the development of strategic relationships and partnerships that strengthen the Academy’s international recruitment pipeline and institutional presence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and evaluating prospective partnerships with educational institutions and recruitment agencies
  • Supporting relationship development with international partners and community organizations
  • Assisting with strategic outreach initiatives in targeted international markets
  • Evaluating partnership opportunities based on institutional objectives and recruitment priorities
  • Supporting international collaboration and external engagement efforts

5. Cross-Functional Coordination and Institutional Support

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment between recruitment strategies and institutional goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with admissions, academic leadership, and administrative departments
  • Supporting integration of recruitment strategies with enrollment and program objectives
  • Preparing analytical reports, strategic recommendations, and market insights
  • Assisting institutional planning and organizational decision-making processes
  • Supporting cross-functional communication related to enrollment development initiatives

8. Reporting and Strategic Recommendations

Prepare analytical reports and provide data-driven insights to support institutional decision-making.

  • Interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations related to program development, market positioning, and international expansion
  • Present strategic insights to support planning and long-term institutional growth
  • Synthesize data from marketing, enrollment, and market analysis to inform high-level decisions

Qualification Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Education, Communications, Business Analytics, or a closely related field.
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience in marketing, student recruitment, enrollment management, business development, or a related role within an educational or international business environment.
  • Experience supporting market research, recruitment initiatives, marketing analysis, or strategic outreach activities.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international education markets, cross-cultural communication, and student recruitment practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and collaborative skills, with the ability to support data-informed planning and institutional growth initiatives.
