The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Brand Ambassador to represent a premium skincare brand, across multiple retail locations in New York (Bluemercury) .

This is a part-time opportunity (1 day per week per location) structured as an independent contractor (1099) role.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple stores , ensuring consistent brand presence, strong execution, and elevated client experience in each location.

You will be responsible for delivering an elevated brand experience, driving sales, and building lasting relationships with both clients and store teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the brand with professionalism, confidence, and strong product knowledge
• Deliver personalized skincare consultations tailored to client needs
• Drive sales performance and achieve daily targets
• Educate clients on product benefits, routines, and usage
• Build strong relationships with store teams and management
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and tester hygiene
• Identify opportunities to increase sell-through and client engagement
• Provide daily feedback and insights on store activity, client behavior, and product performance
• Support in-store events and brand activations when required

Profile

• Passion for skincare, beauty, and client experience
• Strong background in retail sales (Sephora, Nordstrom, Bluemercury, or similar preferred)
• Proven ability to engage clients and drive sales performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while representing the brand at a high level
• Professional, reliable, and results-driven
• Availability to work 2 days per week , including weekends
• Independent Contractor Details (1099)

This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position

Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and compliance requirements
