Business Development Representative - Payroll Services | B2B Sales Hunter | Brooklyn, NY

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients through strategic research, networking, cold calling, and warm outreach campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and C-level executives through personalized engagement and consistent communication
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that showcase payroll services benefits and drive client conversions
  • Manage sales pipeline effectively, prioritizing leads and opportunities to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and client services teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and exceptional customer experiences
  • Track and analyze sales activities, performance metrics, and KPIs, providing regular progress reports to management
  • Generate qualified leads and successfully convert prospects into long-term clients
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client value and revenue potential

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in payroll services, HR solutions, or related industries
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Expert knowledge of sales processes, prospecting techniques, and consultative selling strategies
  • Strong hunter mentality with exceptional lead generation and business development skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and overcome sales challenges
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office suite
