Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Buffalo, NY (Onsite)
Work Schedule: 50-65 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing and facility operations through effective maintenance, repair, and rebuild of mechanical systems. This role places a strong emphasis on pump systems and requires hands-on experience in welding, cutting, and mechanical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild various pump systems, including centrifugal, gear, and diaphragm pumps.

• Execute welding and cutting tasks (MIG, TIG, and stick) for equipment repair and fabrication.

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.

• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

• Demonstrate flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

• 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Strong knowledge of pump systems, including repair, rebuild, and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in welding and cutting techniques with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
