To further this mission, Callen-Lorde promotes health education and wellness, and advocates for LGBTQ+ health issues. About The Role As the Supervisor of Facilities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, clean, and functional working environment for our staff, patients, and visitors. You will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, safety, and management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities As a Supervisor of Facilities, your responsibilities will include:- Oversee Facility Maintenance: Manage and coordinate all aspects of building maintenance, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Ensure that all facilities adhere to safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, electrical safety, and environmental compliance.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and quality services.
- Coordinate Facility Projects: Manage facility improvement projects, such as renovations or upgrades, from planning to execution.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Manage Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and operations.
- Respond to Emergencies: Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively, such as equipment failures or safety hazards.
- Ensure Operational Efficiency: Optimize facility operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and cost-effective environment.
This is a full-time position with e vening hours.

Qualifications Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in the janitorial field, trade, technical facility, or equivalent work experience
- 1+ year of supervisory experience with facilities or business management
- Certificate of Fitness as New York City Fire Safety Director (preferred)
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
