Assistant HVAC Service Manager
Position Summary:
The Assistant HVAC Service Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Service Manager and the broader management team to ensure smooth operations within the Service Department. This position focuses on coordinating daily service activities, assisting with scheduling, managing resources, and providing leadership support to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Assistant Service Manager will act as a key liaison between technicians, customers, and management, ensuring service excellence and adherence to company standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily service operations, including scheduling and dispatching technicians.
- Serve as a point of contact for service-related inquiries from customers and internal teams.
- Support management team members with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Monitor work orders, job progress, and technician performance to ensure timely completion.
- Help manage inventory, tools, and equipment for service jobs.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts procurement and delivery.
- Communicate with customers regarding service schedules, updates, and follow-ups.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Assist in training and mentoring service technicians.
- Support cross-training initiatives to improve team versatility and skill sets.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, performance metrics, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC experience.
- High School diploma or GED. • OSHA 10-hour and/or OSHA-30-hour Construction Training Certification.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in service coordination, scheduling, or a lead technician role preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management and field personnel.
- Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean and valid NYS driver’s license.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for providing expert service and maintenance for commercial and industrial facilities, including but not limited to manufacturing, retail, office, and hospitality environments. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintenance of commercial/industrial facilities including but not limited to manufacturing, retail, office, and hospitality.
- Service and maintenance of a variety of HVAC systems including but not limited to:
- Water source heat pumps
- Indirect and direct forced air systems
- Packaged RTUs
- Hydronic heating systems
- Cooling towers
- Ductless splits
- VRF systems
- Clean room systems
- Humidification/dehumidification systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience servicing commercial/industrial HVAC.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Clean and valid NYS driver’s license.
- OSHA 10-hour and/or OSHA-30-hour Construction Training Certification.
- EPA Certifications I & II and/or Universal.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management and field personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

The HVAC Commercial/Industrial Installer is responsible for the installation of HVAC systems and components in commercial and industrial facilities, including but not limited to manufacturing, retail, office, and hospitality environments. This role requires expertise in installing sheetmetal, piping, controls, and associated HVAC equipment to ensure proper system functionality and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of HVAC systems and components in commercial/industrial facilities including but not limited to manufacturing, retail, office, and hospitality.
- Installation of sheetmetal, piping, and controls for HVAC systems.
- Install and configure a variety of HVAC systems including but not limited to:
- Water source heat pumps
- Indirect and direct forced air systems
- Packaged RTUs
- Hydronic heating systems
- Cooling towers
- Ductless splits
- VRF systems
- Clean room systems
- Humidification/dehumidification systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience installing commercial/industrial HVAC systems.

- 5 years or more HVAC experience or lead role experience: $35–$45 per hour.

These positions require the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a variety of environments. Employees must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance.
- Work in confined spaces, on ladders, rooftops, and elevated platforms.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, including hot mechanical rooms and outdoor conditions in all seasons.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic or installation equipment safely.
- Maintain visual and auditory acuity to ensure accurate work and safe practices.
- Work environments include commercial and industrial facilities such as manufacturing plants, retail spaces, offices, and hospitality venues.
- Employees may be exposed to dust, noise, and chemicals associated with HVAC systems. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
