Role: Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary to Permanent)
Pay Rate: $35-$38/hr Location: Manhattan, NY (Near Union Square) - *5 days a week onsite*
Job Description:
Invoice Processing & Payment: Handle the end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, from uploading and allocating them in Yardi to preparing and issuing payments. This includes both physical checks and online utility payments.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies. You will also manage vendor profiles, ensuring all W9s and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are current. You will coordinate with our internal accounting team to guarantee all invoices are paid on time.
Financial Administration: Track and manage key financial payments. This includes accurately administering debt service and property tax payments.
Documentation and Tracking: Maintain precise records for all transactions, including a comprehensive utility control sheet. You will ensure every invoice has the necessary supporting documentation for a clear audit trail.
