Buddakan NY, the iconic dining destination in the heart of the Meatpacking District, is seeking a skilled Wok Cook to join our kitchen team during an exciting new era — a creative collaboration with Chef Danny Bowien .

Position Summary
As a Wok Cook, you will be responsible for executing high-heat, high-volume dishes with precision, speed, and consistency. This role is integral to maintaining the energy and rhythm of the kitchen while delivering dishes that meet Buddakan’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute wok-fired dishes with accuracy, consistency, and proper technique
- Manage multiple orders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wok station
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to support service
Desired Qualifications
- The ability to work PM/dinner shifts
- Experience working a wok station in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong understanding of high-heat cooking techniques and timing
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-driven
