Dermatology Medical Assistant

Bethany Medical Clinic of New York is hiring a Full-Time DERMATOLOGY Medical Assistant with EXPERIENCE. We are a very busy medical clinic with 3 different locations within New York City.


Description/Job Duties:

• You will be assisting a dermatologist and a dermatology PA. However, since we are a primary care practice, you WILL have to perform some primary care medical assistant duties such as vitals, EKG, COVID-19 Testing (PCR and Antibody Test), etc.
• Derm procedures (biopsies, botox, fillers, Trusculpt, LPL laser, ultherapy, VI peel)
• Cross-training with Front Desk Receptionist duties (coverage when needed and also for employees' own knowledge of how things work)
• Perform other clinical duties
• We will train the right person in all of the above and other duties.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience in phlebotomy.
• MUST have a flexible schedule. We cater to busy New Yorkers and offer unconventional appointment times, so weekend and night availability is necessary.
• Must be able to travel between offices when needed. (This is non-negotiable. See our website for specific location details)
• Work well under pressure in a busy clinical setting.
• Must have excellent customer service skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. We will prioritize candidates with a personable approach who make our patients feel comfortable and welcome.
• Must love people!
