Solar Foreman
We are working with a leading renewable energy company dedicated to designing and installing high-quality solar energy systems and they are seeking an experienced Solar Foreman to lead installation crews on commercial solar projects.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong electrical or construction experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate solar installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols
- Oversee installation work to meet NEC and NYSERDA requirements
- Communicate project progress and challenges to project managers and superintendent
- Troubleshoot technical and logistical issues on-site
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in solar, electrical, or construction leadership roles.
- OSHA 30 certification required; electrical license preferred.
- NABCEP certification a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites
