Transport CNAs at our centers are responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and other destinations. Your friendly demeanor and reliable service will ensure residents receive the medical assessment and care necessary for their rehabilitation and well being.* FULLTIME; MON.-FRI. ONLY
* WEEKLY PAY!!
* SIGN-ON BONUS - $2,500.00
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely drives residents to medical appointments, outings, and other destinations according to assigned schedule
- Adheres to traffic laws, regulations, and facility policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road
- Assists residents into and out of vehicle
- Secures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs while driving
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure resident needs are met
- Communicates with administrative staff regularly to receive instructions or report dealys and disruptions of service
- Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections, refueling and immediately reporting maintenance needs
- Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
QUALIFICATIONS OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) INCLUDE:- Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Dedication to upholding high standards of care
