Job Description
What we are looking for: Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Nassau County. You will get a wide variety of experience with mentorship in place. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, TBI, Voice, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, etc.
Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We're looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York

Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.

Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.

Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP

Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
